In this tutorial you will learn how to get Facebook user ID (xs) and user session ID (c_user), which is required to automatically import Facebook pages, profiles and groups into WordPress by means of the CyberSEO Pro plugin. The process will be demonstrated for Firefox browser, which is the most popular one today. Actually almost the same procedure will work for Chrome and other similar browsers.
First of all make sure you are logged in to a Facebook account.
Now open Facebook in Firefox and click Ctrl+Shift+I to open the Developer Tools and navigate to the “Storage” (“Application” in Chrome) tab. There you will see your Facebook c_user and xs values. Double click on them and copy their value.
Simply paste these values into the “Facebook c_user” and “Facebook xs” boxes on the CyberSEO Pro “Accounts” page.
Save the changes and you are set to go. The only thing you need is to add a new Facebook profile, page or group to CyberSEO Pro, just add its regular URL the same way you syndicate RSS feeds. E.g. https://www.facebook.com/whitehouse/
Your session ID will be valid for all the time you are logged into Facebook, so don’t logout. If you don’t want to use your personal Facebook account for these purposes, just register a new dedicated one.
